CNC Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of CNC products and solutions, including CNC Controllers, Servo Systems, Spindle Systems, Drives, CNC Retrofit, and Automation Solutions.
• Manage existing customers and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Analyze customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions, including productivity improvement and cost-reduction solutions.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimations, pricing, and gross margin analysis, and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Application, Service, Factory, Procurement, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage and follow up projects from customer requirements and PO through delivery, installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, manage the sales pipeline and forecast, and identify opportunities for continuous business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Experience in CNC, Machine Tools, Factory Automation, Technical Sales, or related industries.
• Basic knowledge of CNC Controllers, Servo Systems, Spindle Systems, and Drives.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Strong technical presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze project costs, selling prices, and gross margins.
• Good command of English; Japanese language skills are an advantage.
• Willing and able to travel for customer visits and on-site work.
