We are currently hiring for CNC Setter for one of our client.

Job Title: CNC Setter
Experience: 2-5 Years

Location: Hyderabad
Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering
Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical qualification

Job Summary:-

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter to handle CNC turning machine setting, tooling, offsets, first-piece setup, and production support. The candidate should have good knowledge of CNC tools, measuring instruments, and engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Set CNC Turning machines as per engineering drawings and process requirements.
• Select tools, set tool offsets, and perform tool corrections.
• Handle job loading/unloading and first-piece setting.
• Check component dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and required surface finish.
• Identify and resolve machine setting and production-related issues.
• Support CNC operators during production and ensure smooth machine operation.
• Monitor tool wear and replace inserts/tools when required.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Programming teams.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical qualification.
• 2-5 years of experience in CNC Turning machine setting.
• Good knowledge of CNC tools, inserts, offsets, and tool setting.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
• Experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC machines will be preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and production support skills.
