CNC Setter/Operator

Designation: Junior Executive – CNC Setter / Operator

Shift: Day / Night

Job Purpose

To operate CNC machines and support setting activities while maintaining required production quantity, dimensional accuracy, and quality standards for precision components.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines according to approved work instructions.

Load and unload components correctly.

Assist senior setters in job setting and tool setting.

Carry out tool changes as instructed.

Monitor machining parameters and machine operation.

Perform authorized tool-offset corrections.

Conduct routine dimensional inspection.

Use vernier, micrometer, gauges, and other measuring instruments.

Identify tool wear, abnormal machine conditions, and dimensional deviations.

Maintain separation and identification of OK, rejected, and rework components.

Maintain production and inspection records.

Report quality and machine problems immediately.

Maintain machine cleanliness and basic operator-level maintenance.

Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, 5S, and housekeeping.

Support production of precision automotive, LPG, electrical, instrument, and capacitor components.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Machinist / Production or related discipline.

Skills

2–3 years CNC operating experience.

Basic CNC setting knowledge.

Drawing reading.

Measuring instrument knowledge.

Basic understanding of machining tools and processes.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
