CNC Setup Programmer

Are you an experienced CNC professional looking to join a growing manufacturing team? We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Programmer to program, set up, and optimize CNC equipment while producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters
• Perform first-article inspections and make necessary adjustments
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
• Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC setup and programming experience
• Strong understanding of G-code programming
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience machining tight-tolerance parts preferred
