CNC VMC Setter @ Coimbatore

Role & responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC & VMC machines as per production requirements.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, and offset corrections.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and process sheets.
• Set cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices accurately.
• Handle tool offsets, wear offsets, and parameter adjustments to maintain component quality.
• Ensure production as per quality standards and required cycle time.
• Identify and resolve basic machining and tooling issues during production.
• Maintain proper machine condition and follow 5S and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to ensure smooth production.

Preferred candidate profile

• CNC & VMC Machine Setting.
• Good knowledge of G-code and M-code.
• Experience in tool setting, offset correction, and fixture setting.
• Ability to read 2D engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi control systems is preferred.
