Job Description:

• Responsible for operating various machines as: Litox Saw, Egil Saw, Commandulli lnline, Master 38.0 CNC, Vee Groover, & Primus Waterjet
• Inspect all raw materials prior to cutting to ensure no blemishes or defects will be present in any finish piece.
• Ensure grain matching and colour matching of all raw slabs including batching and toning of engineered stone and ultra-compact materials
• Check all completed pieces as per QA checklist for Saw Operation
• As required carry out Quality Checks on other operations as requested.
• Fully understand the Moraware software and programming sequences for order of jobs to be run on the machines
• As required carry out maintenance and service schedule
• Train back up operators for all machines as directed.
• Familiarize yourself with all Health and Safety information always provided and comply with the Health and Safety procedures and/or policies of the Company.

Qualification:

• A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating stone fabrication machinery in a manufacturing or stone processing environment.
• Proven experience operating and programming one or more of the following machines: Litox Saw, Egil Saw, Commandulli lnline Edge Polisher, Master 38.0 CNC Machine, Vee Grooving Machine & Primus Waterjet
• Experience working with granite, marble, engineered stone, and ultra-compact surfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, CAD drawings, and DXF files.
• Experience in CAD modification and DXF file preparation for machine programming.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, tooling setup, and machine calibration.
• Experience with material optimization, slab selection, and yield management to minimize wastage.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures, including grain matching, colour matching, and defect identification.
• Ability to carry out routine machine maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience using production software such as Moraware or similar job scheduling and production management systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production schedules and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks associated with stone fabrication and manufacturing environments.
