Project Coordinator x 2 Roles

Worklife is partnering with the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission, Te Waihanga, to recruit for a number of roles as the organisation establishes New Zealand's new investment assurance function for infrastructure.

The New Zealand Infrastructure Commission, Te Waihanga isn't the biggest government entity but our job is as big as it gets: shaping New Zealand’s infrastructure system to work better for all of us - now and for future generations. Whether it’s the roads and rails that connect us, or the pipes and powerlines that keep the lights on, we’re here to make it all deliver more value.

Just some of the ways we do this include providing independent advice; developing plans for the long term; managing the National Infrastructure Pipeline, which provides a view of current or planned infrastructure projects; and by providing investment decision assurance for proposed infrastructure projects, to give decision makers the information they need to make well-informed decisions and choices.

We’re looking for two Project Coordinators to support Te Waihanga’s infrastructure assurance work to bring together people, processes and information. These roles would suit someone who enjoys being the glue in the team, keeping detailed, process driven work running smoothly to achieve all outcomes with excellence. You’ll coordinate across multiple parties, work with sensitive information ensuring the right touch points are involved, creating quality information that is released accurately. Someone who:

• Takes initiative and ownership and keeps work moving efficiently without close direction
• Brings excellent attention to detail
• Learns new systems and processes quickly to become the “go to” person seeks to constantly improve systems
• Is an excellent communicator who can coordinate with flair and influence
• Brings analytical or quantitative skills, infrastructure experience would be the icing on top!
