COA Cocktail Server

OBJECTIVE

The Seasonal Cocktail Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and efficient beverage and food service to guests while creating a welcoming and memorable experience. This seasonal position supports the Food & Beverage team during periods of increased business and special events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, attentive service.
• Take beverage and food orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve cocktails, wine, beer, and food according to hotel service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, cocktails, ingredients, and current promotions.
• Check guest identification and follow all alcohol service regulations.
• Monitor guests responsibly and immediately communicate any concerns regarding alcohol consumption to a manager.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, service stations, and assigned areas.
• Process guest payments accurately and follow all cashhandling procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and sidework responsibilities.
• Work closely with bartenders, culinary team members, and other servers to provide efficient service.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.

COCKTAIL SERVER ESSENTIALS

• Previous serving, cocktail service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple guest requests.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays safely.
• Must meet all state and local requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• This is a seasonal position, with scheduling based on business needs.
