Coach and Bus Driver

Job Overview

We are a friendly, family run business that has been established for 20+ years.

We are seeking a skilled Coach Drivers to join our team on a part time basis - with potential for full time. The ideal candidate/s will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely manner. Majority of work is transportation for private school contracts (London), NHS contract and private hire all over the U.K.

Please note: You must have a minimum of 2 years coach/bus driving for insurance purposes

Duties

• Drive coaches along specified routes
• Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bus
• Communicate effectively with passengers and respond to inquiries
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Proficient in English for effective communication with passengers

• Possess mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance

• Hold a valid PCV licence (cat D)

• Ability to drive large vehicles safely and responsibly

• Must hold driver CPC card

• For insurance purposes, drivers must be aged 25-75 years of age, with no more than 6 points on their licence. We will consider younger drivers for the right applicant.

Due to the nature of this work, employee must hold an enhanced DBS certificate - we can apply on your behalf if you do not have this.

Pay: From £16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
