Coach

At Dream Captures we are currently seeking high energy, enthusiastic, and entertaining individuals to join our team as a coach/mentor. We are looking for clear communicators who are able to be molded into the greatest coach they can be. The ability to adapt to fast paced environments while still maintaining animated energy for children is a must.

Our mission is to spark imagination, build confidence, and inspire young minds beyond the school day through unforgettable experiences rooted in creativity, curiosity, and care. As the coach/mentor you will be responsible for maintaining this energy on a daily basis. Must be able to build off of the day before with an open minded and team oriented mindset. Of course, punctuality is a must. Must be able to commit for a year. Issues with punctuality are a deal breaker. Hiring for the following zip codes: 91331, 90061, 90059, 90247, 90043, 90011, 90045, 90063, 90022, 90019, 91342.

Possible Schedule:

8:00am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday)

What you will be trained to do:

• How to manage groups of children
• Classroom management
• Indoor activities
• Games
• Junior Leadership Program
• Administration conversations
• Voice Projection
• How to view the playground in a 360 scope

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a group of 1-50 kids
• Fully implement Dream Captures program at your school site
• Connect play and STEAM in daily games that are played
• Train students to be junior leaders
• Serve as a positive role model to students
• Deliver the curriculum that is given to you
• Follow chain of command

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Highschool diploma or GED
• Must pass a pre-employment test
• Provide negative TB Test dated within the last 3 years.
• Must have clear communication skills
• Punctuality

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds
• Must be able to do basic warm ups with children such as jumping jacks, high knees, squats, etc...
• Must be able to stand for duration of shift

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
