Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Coach to join our dedicated team, committed to empowering individuals through personalized guidance and support. As a Coach, you will play a vital role in fostering growth, independence, and success for clients from diverse backgrounds, including those with developmental disabilities and autism. Responsibilities

• Develop individualized coaching plans tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and abilities, incorporating best practices in social work, addiction counseling, and workforce development.
• Provide direct coaching, mentoring, and training to clients to enhance their life skills, employment readiness, and community integration.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments through interviewing and case management to identify client strengths and areas for growth.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on workforce development, disability awareness, cultural competency, and personal development.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, service plans, and case notes using Microsoft Office tools or specialized case management software.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including social services professionals—to coordinate support services for clients from underserved communities.
• Communicate effectively with clients about their goals while ensuring culturally sensitive approaches that respect individual backgrounds and experiences.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of employment & labor law as it relates to workplace rights and accommodations.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Background in addiction counseling, social work, or related fields with a focus on client empowerment.
• Excellent writing skills for documentation, reports, and client communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for record keeping and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations.
• Skills in coaching, mentoring, interviewing, training & development to foster client growth.
• Experience in workforce development programs or social services settings that support disability inclusion.
