Description About the programme Bloomsbury Football Foundation is on a mission to transform lives through the magic of football. Her Game Needs You, is our coach development pathway for women, built on the belief that every girl and woman in football deserves the chance to see herself reflected in a role model. This programme exists to close that gap and build a real route from loving the game to making an impact in the local community at grassroots level.

We impact 6500 young people week, with community coaching at the centre of our approach. To us, a coach is a trusted adult and a role model for their players, helping them reach their full potential. 'Her Game Needs You' is built to ensure the cohort leaves feeling confident to coach any child, regardless of their ability or background.

Running through 2027, the programme delivers a mix of on-pitch and off-pitch CPDs, bringing coaches together with an impressive group of mentors, ambassadors and coach developers.Because football, and the young people we coach, need more women leading from the sidelines.

About the role As a Mentor, you'll be a guiding presence for a small group of coaches on our Women’s Coaching Pathway, sharing your experience and helping them grow in confidence both on and off the pitch. You'll attend at least 4 of the 6 CPD sessions, help deliver 2 of them alongside our Head Coach Developer, and hold at least 2 one to ones with each of your coaches over the course of the programme. You'll also attend and deliver at any events we host, representing the programme and what it stands for.

This is a chance to shape the next generation of women coaches in grassroots and community football, drawing on your own journey and giving something back to coaches at the very start of theirs.
