Ministry Overview Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry dedicated to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically integrated, college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. We are committed to providing our students with experiences that will foster in them a servant’s heart, including extra-curricular activities, inter-scholastic athletics, music, theater, short-term mission trips, and numerous service opportunities. Job Summary This position has responsibility for supporting CVCA’s Golf program in accordance with the OHSAA and our athletic mission to Build Christ-like Character as Ambassadors for Christ through Competitive Excellence. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Train, disciple, and encourage student-athletes to perform athletically to the maximum of his or her potential in order to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
• Communicate the mission of the program
• Integrate the program into the school community
• Supervise practice and manage games
• Support student-athlete success in all areas of the student experience
• Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience Previous experience coaching or participating in competitive golf

Working Conditions And Physical Demands

• Physical activity as needed, running, walking, standing for extended periods of time

• Local travel for games
