About us

At Altrad, your growth fuels our success.

We are a trusted provider of specialist construction, maintenance, and integrated industrial solutins across Australia, partnering with major clients in energy, resources, utilities, and defence.

We go beyond building and maintaining assets, we create Impact that Matters. Every day, our people contribute to safer workplaces, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future.

As part of the global Altrad Group, with over 65,000 people across 50+ countries, you’ll join a network that’s connected by purpose, driven by innovation, and united by our shared values of Solidarity, Respect, Humility, Conviviality, and Courage.

About the opportunity

Altrad are seeking experienced Coatings Supervisors to join our core crew delivering ongoing works in Tom Price.

Working a 2:2 FIFO roster ex Perth, this is an excellent opportunity for supervisors looking for roster stability, ongoing work and the chance to secure a longer-term position on a major Rio Tinto site.

This is a hands-on frontline leadership role where you’ll lead coatings crews in the field, coordinate daily activities and ensure work is executed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You’ll be supported by an established project team while taking ownership of your crew’s safety, productivity and performance.

If you’re an experienced FIFO supervisor looking to move away from short-term shutdown work and into a consistent 2:2 roster with ongoing project work, we want to hear from you.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and supervise coatings crews across maintenance activities.
  • Run effective pre-starts and toolbox talks, ensuring crews understand the daily scope, priorities and risks.
  • Coordinate permits, labour, equipment and resources to keep work fronts productive and minimise delays.
  • Maintain a strong field presence, monitoring safety, quality, productivity and progress against plan.
  • Complete and review required safety and compliance documentation, including JHAs, Take 5s and inspections.
  • Manage day-to-day operational requirements including CMMS close-outs, timesheets and reporting.
  • Work closely with project leadership and other disciplines to support safe and efficient execution.
