Overview
Eau Claire Cooperative Oil Company is growing and looking to add a team member to our Poly Coated Urea (PCU) operation. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality coated fertilizer products while maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.

• Operate Process equipment (computerized HMI controls and I-pads)

• Troubleshoot process equipment

• Monitor incoming raw materials, machine process, and liquid chemical flows

• Operate lab equipment and perform testing to ensure quality

• Verify and validate testing results

• Verify and validate correct product specs and documentation

• Unload liquid bulk materials from truck tankers into tank farm

• Perform confined space cleanouts

• Monitor buildup and cleanout procedures

• Operate forklift to move products and chemicals

• Operate heavy equipment end loader for raw material, finished material movement and truck load out

• Perform general maintenance, housekeeping, and other cleaning duties

• Perform repair processes and operate equipment

• Snow removal/Grounds keeping

• Comply with company quality, compliance, and safety standards and procedures

Education/Training: GED and driver’s license

Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment, forklift operation, end loader operation

Skills and Abilities:

• Possess mechanical and troubleshooting abilities

• Possess ability to operate or learn to operate heavy machinery

• Possess Strong Mechanical understanding

• Work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to work weekends when necessary

• Work various hours as needed

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other industrial lifting equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes, machining, or auto body repair is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with industrial painting techniques such as auto painting or auto body repair.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments effectively.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and warehouse operations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of materials handling, fabrication, and assembly processes within a manufacturing setting.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thickness and process adjustments. Operate the poly-coated urea (PCU) process machine and surrounding related tasks, including lab testing/recording, chemical handling, cleaning, and maintenance. Perform WT bulk-handling operations, including operating an end loader, unloading trucks, setting up conveyors, and cleaning.

Schedule

• Tuesday – Friday
• 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (hours may vary or rotate as needed)
• Potential 8 hour shift every other weekend
