The Standard is looking for a confident and experienced Cocktail Bartender to join our team.

We’re a busy bar and restaurant in the heart of Loughton, serving a wide range of cocktails, wines, spirits and draught products. We’re looking for someone who can work efficiently behind the bar while maintaining high standards of drinks and customer service.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving cocktails consistently to our recipes and standards
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Working confidently during busy Friday and Saturday night service
• Setting up and closing down the bar
• Maintaining a clean, organised and fully stocked bar
• Preparing garnishes, juices and other cocktail ingredients
• Handling orders and payments through the till
• Following Challenge 25, licensing and responsible alcohol service procedures
• Working closely with the floor and bar team to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For

Previous cocktail/bar experience is preferred, particularly in a busy bar or restaurant environment.

You should be:

• Confident making classic and modern cocktails
• Fast and organised during busy service
• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Available for evenings and weekends, particularly Fridays and Saturdays

Pay: £12.71 per hour
