Cocktail Bartender

Job Summary
Modern Bar and Restaurant is looking for an experienced Cocktail Bartender to prepare well-crafted beverages while providing attentive, professional service. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of classic and contemporary cocktails, works efficiently under pressure, and takes pride in maintaining a polished bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately.
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent drink quality and presentation.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and engage professionally with guests.
• Take orders and process POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station.
• Monitor beverage supplies and communicate inventory needs to management.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and other bartenders during busy periods.
• Handle guest questions and service concerns promptly and professionally.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and bar side-work duties.
• Verify identification and follow responsible alcohol-service requirements.
• Maintain proper sanitation and workplace-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cocktail bartending or full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to multitask and maintain accuracy during high-volume service.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on presentation and consistency.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable standing and working behind a bar for extended periods.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet applicable Idaho requirements for alcohol service.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
