The Bang Bang Bar is looking for experienced, outgoing, and energetic Cocktail Servers to join our team.

We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy working with others, know how to provide great hospitality, and can move quickly and confidently through a busy bar. The right candidate is personable, attentive, organized, and able to juggle multiple guests and priorities without sacrificing service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Take cocktail, beer, wine, and other beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver drinks quickly and safely using cocktail trays
• Check in with guests regularly and anticipate their needs
• Maintain strong knowledge of our cocktail and beverage menu
• Make recommendations and upsell when appropriate
• Accurately enter orders and process payments using our POS system
• Manage multiple tables and guest requests at once during high-volume shifts
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and other team members to keep service moving
• Maintain clean and organized tables and guest areas
• Bus glassware and reset tables as needed
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all TABC requirements
• Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work
• Jump in and help the team wherever needed during busy shifts

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of 2 years of serving experience required
• Must have or be willing to obtain a current TABC certification and Texas Food Handler certification
• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable approaching and engaging with guests
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Must be able to move quickly and efficiently throughout a shift
• Comfortable carrying and balancing cocktail trays with multiple drinks
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Able to remain friendly and professional under pressure
• Previous cocktail, bar, or nightlife serving experience is strongly preferred

Schedule

We are looking to fill Wednesday through Sunday evening shifts.

We are open to hiring one full-time Cocktail Server or two part-time Cocktail Servers, depending on availability and experience. Applicants do not necessarily need to be available all five nights, but evening and weekend availability is required.

What We're Looking For

This isn’t a position where you wait for guests to flag you down. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, engaging, and genuinely hospitality-minded. You should be comfortable approaching guests, starting conversations, keeping an eye on your entire section, and knowing when someone is ready for another round.

You’ll need to be able to move with a sense of urgency while still making guests feel welcome and taken care of.
