Cocktail Server

Job Summary

Gresso's is seeking a friendly and attentive Cocktail Server to provide efficient beverage service in a lively bar and restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, and comfortable handling multiple guest requests during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders accurately.
• Serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages promptly.
• Explain drink options and answer guest questions about the menu.
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system.
• Monitor assigned tables and provide attentive service throughout each visit.
• Process payments accurately and handle guest checks.
• Maintain clean and organized service areas.
• Coordinate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other servers during busy periods.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous serving, cocktail service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant or bar.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to guests.
• Basic knowledge of beverages and restaurant service.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual.
• Must meet applicable Ohio requirements for alcohol service.

Gresso's is a Columbus bar and restaurant located on South High Street in the German Village area. The business combines a classic neighborhood-bar atmosphere with fresh, from-scratch food and a broad beverage selection.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31.0 per week
