Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently
• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Maintain thorough knowledge of our menu offerings, including wine pairings and spirits to upsell effectively
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are followed at all times during service
• Clear tables promptly, bus tables efficiently, and assist with food presentation when needed to enhance guest satisfaction
• Manage cash handling accurately while processing payments swiftly and professionally using POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms

Skills

• Proven experience in beverage service, cocktail preparation, or fine dining environments with strong spirits knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and anticipate their needs
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, bartending, or host/hostess positions is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus

Pay: From $17.13 per hour
