Code Enforcement Officer / Zoning Administrator

The City of Staunton is accepting applications for a Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Administrator. Responsibilities include assisting with the enforcement of city ordinances and zoning regulations, responding to complaints and inquiries, maintaining records, and communicating with residents and property owners regarding code and zoning matters.

The position requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with the public. Previous experience in code enforcement, zoning, construction, or municipal government is helpful but not required.

Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office located at 101 W. Pearl St, during regular business hours. Applications must be turned in by 4:30 PM on Friday, October 16.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
