We are currently seeking experienced Coded Welders to join a well-established industrial team based in Wattleup.

With a major shutdown scheduled for November and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, this is an opportunity to secure consistent Perth-based work without the FIFO lifestyle.

The Role

• 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday

• Optional weekend work for additional overtime

• Workshop-based welding with upcoming site work

• TIG root, stick fill and cap welding on carbon steel

• Full TIG welding on 304L stainless steel with argon purge

• Working with carbon steel pipework up to 24" XS

• Reading and interpreting welding procedures and technical drawings

• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety

About You

• Previous experience as a Coded Welder

• ASME IX welding qualifications

• Proven 6G welding experience

• Competent in TIG root with E7018 stick fill and cap

• Experience with full TIG welding on 304L stainless steel

• Experience welding both carbon steel and stainless steel preferred

• Construction White Card

• Working at Heights ticket

• EWP Yellow Card highly regarded

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

Weld Testing Requirements

All candidates must successfully complete a practical weld test prior to mobilisation.

• Carbon steel testing on a 6" Schedule 80 coupon

• Radiographic testing of completed welds

• Qualification against the client's welding procedures
