STRICT REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of Professional Fee (Profee) Medical Coding experience — REQUIRED
• Active CPC, CCS-P, COC, or CCS certification
• College graduate of BS Nursing or a Medical Allied course
• Strong experience in Cardiology Coding
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, medical terminology, and cardiac devices
• Experience in invasive and noninvasive cardiology coding, including electrophysiology, cardiac devices, cardiothoracic, and vascular procedures
• Familiarity with Epic or other professional fee coding systems
• Experience supporting multispecialty Professional Fee coding environments
• Must be willing to work from home
• Subject to business approval

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Providence Professional Fee (PB) Coder specializing in cardiology to ensure accurate coding of cardiovascular services across office visits, hospital encounters, consultations, diagnostic testing, and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, E/M, and modifier codes for cardiology services.
• Code office and hospital E/M services, consultations, cardiovascular evaluations, critical care, and follow-up visits.
• Code diagnostic procedures such as ECGs, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, event monitoring, and vascular studies.
• Review procedure reports, cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and device monitoring records.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with applicable professional fee coding guidelines.
• Support multispecialty coding operations as needed.

PREFERRED SPECIALTY EXPERIENCE

Candidates with experience in the following areas may also be considered, depending on the account's coding needs:

• Cardiology
• OB-GYN with Urology specialty
• General Surgery with Orthopedic and Bariatric Surgery coding
• Gastroenterology
• Nephrology

SALARY PACKAGE
