Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for coding, AMC exam preparation, and related subjects.
• Deliver engaging online tutoring sessions utilizing modern learning technology tools to enhance student understanding and participation.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring all students receive personalized support.
• Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and feedback sessions, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and active participation from students of diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies such as project-based learning, interactive exercises, and real-world applications to make lessons relevant and stimulating.
• Maintain detailed records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports for ongoing evaluation and communication with parents or guardians when appropriate.

Experience

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching coding languages such as Python, Java, or C++ at various levels from beginner to advanced.
• Strong background in curriculum development for science, mathematics, English language arts, or test preparation like the AMC or SAT exams.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt instructional approaches based on individual learning styles and special education needs.
• Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds in online or classroom settings.
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms used for remote instruction including virtual whiteboards, video conferencing tools, and digital assessment tools.
• Prior classroom management experience combined with excellent communication skills to effectively engage learners of all ages—including children, teenagers, and adult learners.
• Knowledge of instructional best practices in science tutoring, mathematics tutoring, English language arts tutoring, and exam preparation strategies.
