Coding Instructor

CODE SENSEI (INSTRUCTOR) — Code Ninjas Seattle

We're hiring enthusiastic, energetic people to join our team and help kids build coding fundamentals, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. No advanced coding experience required, we'll train you.

The Role
Guide students (ages 7–14) through coding projects, help them think through problems, and celebrate their wins as they level up. Create a fun, safe environment where kids actually want to show up, help run Parent's Night Out and birthday parties, and keep the dojo ready to go.

Who You Are

• Experience working with kids (coaching, tutoring, babysitting, mentoring)
• Outgoing, energetic, and genuinely fun to be around
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative and coachable
• Willing to learn as you go

What We Offer

• Flexible afternoon, evening, and Saturday hours (6–15 hrs/week)
• Comprehensive on-the-job training
• Close-knit, supportive team
• Real experience for college applications and future careers

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in kids' lives.
