Coding Instructor

• Location: Middletown

The ideal candidate is

• Comfortable working with children aged 7-14 years
• Proficiency in Scratch and Python
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Enthusiasm for technology and education
• Reliable and organized with a professional attitude
• Able to multitask and work with up to 5 students at a time
• Available Monday, Thursdays and Friday evenings
• Available for Summer day camp (optional)

Primary duties are

• Teach coding lessons using a provided curriculum in Scratch and Python
• Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Adapt instruction to different learning styles and skill levels
• Provide feedback to students and communicate progress to parents as needed
• Support project-based learning and help students showcase their work

There is no need to develop lesson plans. A comprehensive curriculum and teaching materials will be provided.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 6.0 per week

Work Location: In person
