Duties

• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions to help students understand coding concepts and solve programming challenges
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each learner’s skill level and learning style
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages questions, experimentation, and perseverance
• Use clear communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an accessible manner
• Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods and providing additional assistance
• Track learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate milestones to motivate continued growth
• Collaborate with program coordinators to improve curriculum materials and teaching strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching coding or computer science concepts
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical material clearly and effectively
• Experience working with children or young learners in educational settings
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Scratch is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching approaches for diverse learners, including those with special education needs
• Enthusiasm for mentoring and inspiring students to pursue technology careers
• Reliable, patient, and motivated to create an engaging learning experience for all students
