COE Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a COE Engineer to join OrthoLite and support our continuous improvement journey.

In this role, you will drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6S, productivity improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives across our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, optimize production processes, and build a strong culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Lean and continuous improvement projects to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production capacity, productivity, output, manpower requirements, and perform production line balancing .
• Design and optimize Lean production line layouts to eliminate waste and improve end-to-end processes.
• Develop and maintain Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify waste, bottlenecks, lead time, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct Gemba walks and collaborate with relevant teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate Kaizen programs and improvement activities .
• Implement and manage 6S activities , audits, KPIs, dashboards, and corrective action plans.
• Collect and analyze data to establish and maintain SMV (Standard Minute Value) and evaluate labor efficiency.
• Develop and deliver Lean and 6S training for employees.
• Support automation initiatives and other continuous improvement projects across production areas.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Lean Production Systems .
• Experience using AutoCAD for production line or Lean layout design.
• Basic Project Management knowledge.
• Intermediate English communication skills across listening, speaking, reading, and writing are preferred.
