Coffe Store Lead

About the role

Manage the overall daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth and efficient business performance. Lead and supervise the café team, including staff scheduling, task allocation, performance monitoring, and coaching. Ensure high standards of coffee preparation, food & beverage quality, customer service, cleanliness, and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end coffee-making process and ensure compliance with established recipes, SOPs, and quality standards
• Monitor sales performance, revenue, expenses, inventory, and other key operational metrics
• Prepare regular operational and financial reports and provide insights to support business decisions
• Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and wastage to optimize operational costs
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations, including BPOM food safety requirements, Halal certification standards, and basic labor regulations
• Maintain a welcoming and culturally inclusive environment for both local and international customers
• Handle customer feedback and operational issues professionally and efficiently
• Support promotional activities and initiatives to increase customer traffic and sales
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking retail and F&B environment

About you

• Minimum 2 years of experience in café, coffee shop, or F&B store management, preferably with experience in Bali or the tourism industry
• Experience working with or managing international brands is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and café operations, from bean preparation and brewing to final product delivery
• SCA certification or other recognized coffee-related certifications is highly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of team management experience, with experience managing a team of at least 5 employees
• Good English communication skills, especially for serving and communicating with international customers
• Good understanding of Halal certification processes, BPOM food safety regulations, and basic Indonesian labor regulations
• Strong financial awareness and the ability to analyze sales data, operational costs, and business performance
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Culturally aware and comfortable working with customers and employees from diverse backgrounds
• Willing to travel
