Summary of the Job Role

As a Coffee Artist at % Arabica Specialty Coffee, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers while showcasing your creativity and passion for coffee. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the overall customer experience by crafting visually appealing and delicious coffee creations. The ideal candidate is a skilled barista with a keen eye for detail, a flair for creativity, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee Preparation and Presentation:

• Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, adhering to % Arabica's recipes and quality standards.
• Showcase your creativity by incorporating latte art techniques to enhance the visual appeal of each coffee creation, delighting customers with beautiful and Instagram-worthy designs.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of coffee preparation, from grinding and tamping the coffee to steaming milk and pouring latte art, ensuring consistency and perfection in every cup.

Customer Engagement and Interaction:

• Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking the time to understand their preferences and make personalized recommendations based on their tastes and preferences.
• Educate customers about different coffee beans, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, sharing your knowledge and passion for specialty coffee to enhance their appreciation and enjoyment.
• Act as a brand ambassador for % Arabica, embodying our values and commitment to excellence in every interaction with customers.

Quality Assurance:

• Maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency in coffee preparation, ensuring that all beverages meet % Arabica's exacting standards of excellence.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and milk steamers, to ensure optimal performance and beverage quality.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients, communicating any needs or shortages to the management team to prevent stockouts and disruptions.

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

• Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation practices in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Regularly clean and sanitize coffee equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for customers and staff.
• Follow proper procedures for storing and handling perishable food items, including milk and dairy products, to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.

Pay: QAR3,190.00 per month
