Key Details:

• Location: Seattle Coffee Roastery, with regular driving around the Greater Seattle region to customer locations for deliveries.
• Pay: $22.25 per hour
• Hours/Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 7am-4pm), no weekends, no holidays, non-seasonal

Responsibilities: This position is crucial to our wholesale operations, ensuring clients receive their orders (grocery stores, coffee shops, hotels, etc. that serve Umbria coffee). You will experience variety in your day-to-day, mainly functioning in a delivery driver capacity running orders and other times, picking and packing orders for shipment to accounts across the United States.

A typical day will include:

• Picking products correctly according to invoices.
• Loading trucks for local deliveries & running local delivery routes in our branded van around the Greater Seattle Metro area.
• Ensuring accuracy in item type and quantity.
• Supporting team members in the warehouse, delivery, customer service team, and sales team as needed.
• Interacting frequently with customers, making sure their deliveries are accurate.
• Accurately labeling product orders for shipment with UPS.
• Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications: We are looking for a personable individual that enjoys working on a small team, driving, and interacting with people. If you have a great attitude and work ethic, we will train you on the skills you will need to be successful.

• Demonstration of safe driving skills.
• Must be responsible for the scheduled maintenance of your delivery vehicle.
• Must maintain a current and unencumbered driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 pounds and that occasionally weigh in excess of 75 pounds.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in an automobile.
• Ability to walk extended distances.
• Ability to utilize a computer, laptop and telephone for job duties.
