Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and food safety standards.
• Process retail sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, seating areas, and food handling zones to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling baked goods or snacks to enhance customer experience.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Skills

• Previous barista or café experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with beverage service and food industry standards.
• Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions efficiently.
• Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation techniques including coffee brewing, drink mixing, and presentation.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to uphold hygiene standards in food service environments.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
