Coffee Machine Technician / Equipment Technician

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Coffee Machine Technician / Equipment Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial coffee machines and related café equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical and troubleshooting skills, a hands-on approach, and a good understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and repair commercial coffee machines and café equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, and electronic faults.
• Replace faulty components and spare parts as required.
• Service-related equipment such as grinders, brewers, blenders, ice machines, water dispensers, and filtration systems.
• Provide technical support and basic equipment training to customers.
• Maintain service reports, job sheets, tools, and spare-parts records.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and service requests.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform other technical duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

• Previous experience in coffee machine servicing, commercial kitchen equipment, electrical appliances, or similar technical work is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, electrical components, plumbing, pumps, motors, heating systems, and electronic controls.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Able to read basic electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

• Comfortable working with hand tools, testing instruments, and technical equipment.

• Willing to travel to customer sites for installation and service work.

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good communication and customer-service skills.

• Physically fit and able to handle equipment and spare parts when required.
