Job Summary

Alchemy Coffee is seeking a friendly and dependable Coffee Shop Associate to provide welcoming customer service and support daily café operations. This position involves preparing beverages, taking orders, processing payments, maintaining a clean workspace, and helping create a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to café standards.
• Operate the POS system and process cash and card transactions.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and beverages.
• Keep counters, equipment, dining areas, and workstations clean.
• Restock coffee, cups, ingredients, and other supplies.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Work with team members to maintain efficient café operations.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other assigned café duties.

Requirements

• Previous café, barista, restaurant, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic cash-handling and POS skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible availability for weekends and holidays.
