Coffee Shop Front Counter Associate

Kaffa Espresso Bar is looking for a friendly and dependable Coffee Shop Front Counter Associate to support daily customer service and front-of-house operations. This role focuses on welcoming guests, taking accurate orders, handling transactions, and helping maintain a clean and organized café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Process cash and card transactions through the POS system
• Answer questions about menu items and café offerings
• Coordinate with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders
• Keep the front counter, dining area, and service spaces clean and organized
• Restock cups, napkins, condiments, and other front-counter supplies
• Assist with opening and closing tasks as needed
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
• Help create a positive and welcoming café experience

Qualifications

• Previous café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team
• Able to stay organized during busy service periods
• Comfortable learning POS and ordering systems
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail when handling orders and transactions
