Coffee Shop Team Member

Yeems Coffee is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Coffee Shop Team Member to support daily café operations. This role involves welcoming customers, taking orders, assisting with beverage and food service, handling routine transactions, maintaining clean work areas, and helping the team provide efficient service throughout the day. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, and comfortable working in a busy coffee shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and assist with general menu questions.
• Prepare or assist with coffee, tea, beverages, and other café items according to established procedures.
• Operate the POS system and process customer payments accurately.
• Communicate order details and customer requests clearly with team members.
• Help organize completed orders for dine-in, pickup, or takeout service.
• Keep counters, service stations, tables, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Replenish cups, lids, napkins, ingredients, packaging, and other café supplies.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods and help maintain smooth order flow.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other routine café duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to customers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer-service environment.
• Good attention to order accuracy, cleanliness, and organization.
• Able to learn POS systems, beverage procedures, and café operations.
• Willingness to follow company policies and established service procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
