Advanced Practice Partners (APP) is a physician-founded and led organization dedicated to exclusively supporting psychiatric nurse practitioners through clinical collaboration and professional mentorship.

As a quickly growing company, we are expanding our network of collaborating psychiatrists. We are seeking multi-state licensed psychiatrists. with preference for California, Texas, Ohio, Georgia, Missouri, South Carolina, North Carolina, and/or Florida medical licenses. You can still apply if you are a psychiatrist with medical licensures in other states. The ones listed are just currently our highest demand states with the highest compensation.

About the Opportunity

This is a flexible, fully remote, 1099 independent contractor opportunity for psychiatrists interested in supporting psychiatric nurse practitioners while maintaining their existing clinical practice or other professional commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consultation and mentorship to assigned psychiatric nurse practitioners.
• Participate in monthly virtual collaboration meetings and required 10 percentage of chart reviews, organized at your own pace at your own preferred monthly date and time.
• Maintain timely communication with assigned NPs.
• Fulfill applicable state-specific collaboration and supervision requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the APP administrative team.
• If collaborating in GA or Texas, willing to assist with PMHNP C II prescribing sign-off.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency training.
• Board-certified in psychiatry, child psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or forensic psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA, preferably in California, Texas, Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and/or Florida.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality psychiatric care.
• Previous experience collaborating with psychiatric NPs is preferred.

Compensation is based on the scope of collaboration, applicable state requirements, and the number of NPs assigned.
