Collection Agent (12-month-contract)

About The Team As a member of the loan collection & recovery team, you will be responsible for handling outbound phone calls and negotiating payments with customers. This involves achieving set collection targets, following up on arrears, and responding to customer inquiries regarding their accounts and finance charges. Your role includes monitoring collection status and processes, investigating cases for efficient collection activities, and managing delinquent accounts in alignment with KPIs and overall collection goals.

Job Description

• Engaging in debt-related conversations with Singapore customers and formulating a customized repayment strategy to facilitate settling their outstanding balances.
• Manage Singapore’s customers’ repayment obligations and motivate timely repayments through outbound collections & recovery calls.
• Proactively achieve/ exceed assigned targets whilst complying with collections methodologies and policies by the company and regulatory bodies.
• The focal point for customer enquiries relating to repayment on overdue accounts.

Requirements

• Possess minimum diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in collections or in a call center background is a plus.
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and is able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Have good composure and showcase excellent problem-solving solving skills.
• Excellent in both written and verbal communication in English. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
