Collection Analyst || Mobikwik

Role Summary

We are looking for a Collection Analyst to own collection MIS and performance analytics for our lending portfolio. You will track delinquency and recovery trends across buckets and geographies, manage cycle-wise allocation, keep vendors accountable, and ensure complaints and escalations are resolved on time and in line with RBI guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS & Reporting

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly collection MIS and dashboards: Reso %, ROR %, roll rates, bucket-wise movement, and collection efficiency.
• Track daily performance against targets and flag deviations early to leadership.
• Ensure 100% accuracy and timely delivery of reports, and prepare monthly business review decks.
• Automate recurring reports to reduce manual effort.

2. Performance Analysis

• Analyse state-wise and city-wise performance and recommend corrective actions for weak geographies.
• Run ROA analysis on low-performing portfolios, agencies, and cohorts, and drive action plans from the findings.
• Study bounce trends and roll-forward behaviour to support strategy changes.

3. Allocation Management

• Manage monthly and cycle-wise allocation of accounts to agencies, tele-calling, and field teams, based on bucket, geography, and past vendor performance.
• Rebalance allocations during the month based on productivity and recovery.

4. Vendor Management & Billing

• Maintain vendor scorecards and run regular performance reviews.
• Validate vendor billing and payouts against actual recovery and productivity.
• Support vendor onboarding and ensure adherence to SLAs and RBI fair-practice guidelines.

5. Complaints & Escalations

• Manage customer, regulatory, social media, and internal escalations within TAT.
• Run root cause analysis on repeat complaints and implement preventive fixes.

6. Cross-functional Work

• Work with Risk, Product, Tech, Legal, and Customer Support to improve collection strategy and processes.

• Reso % and ROR % against monthly targets
• Reduction in roll-forward to higher buckets
• Accuracy and timeliness of MIS
• Vendor billing accuracy and scorecard adherence
• Complaint and escalation closure within TAT
