Collection Clerk Job Description

Job Summary
The Collection Clerk provides administrative support to the collections and accounting team by maintaining customer records, preparing billing documents, tracking payments, and coordinating account follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute invoices, statements of account, and payment reminders.
• Update customer account details, payment records, and collection monitoring sheets.
• Encode payment information and maintain accurate electronic and physical files.
• Compile supporting documents for payment verification and account reconciliation.
• Track payment due dates and send routine follow-ups to customers.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments regarding missing documents, payment confirmations, and billing queries.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection status reports.
• Record account discrepancies and refer unresolved concerns to the appropriate team.
• Assist with document retrieval for audits and internal reviews.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in administrative work, billing, or accounting support is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential records and meet deadlines.

Pay: Php25,660.00 - Php27,200.00 per month
