Collection Driver

Duties

• Shift 6-7 hours a day
• Safely operate a commercial van or similar vehicle to collect, goods, or materials from designated locations.
• Ensure timely pickups and adhere to scheduled routes while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Verify collection details, complete necessary paperwork, and update logs accurately.
• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm collection appointments and address any concerns or questions.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary, including heavy lifting tasks.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type; clean driving record.
• Experience in warehouse environments or handling heavy lifting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and paperwork accurately.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
