Collection Manager

Job Summary
The Collection Manager is responsible for overseeing internal and external collection activities, driving recovery performance, setting collection targets, implementing strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor internal and external collection performance.
• Set collection targets and develop strategies to improve recovery.
• Analyze collection results, trends, and account performance.
• Implement collection policies, procedures, and controls.
• Handle and guide negotiations for difficult or non-paying accounts.
• Monitor external collection agencies and ensure service standards are met.
• Prepare and submit monthly collection performance reports.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance collection efficiency and team productivity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year Business course.
• At least 4–5 years of relevant collection experience, preferably in financing, lending, banking, or financial services.
• With supervisory or managerial experience handling collection teams.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of collection processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
