Collections Representative

Position Summary:

Speedy Transport Group Inc. founded in 1941 as a local, same-day parcel pick-up and delivery service, Speedy Transport (SZTG) has grown to be one of Canada's largest privately held carriers.

Shift timing: 8:30am-5:00pm

Position Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to customers.
• Collect on balance dues.
• Processing and researching disputed accounts receivables.
• Process payments and credit notes.
• Send past due notices.
• Handle correspondences, both verbal and by email.
• Send account statements.
• Various assigned tasks as requested.

Position Qualifications:

• 1 – 2 years Accounts Receivables/Collections experience preferred.
• Transportation experience is a strong asset.
• Bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
• Great attention to detail. Strong computer skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff.
• Good communication skills and ability to provide effective feedback.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
