Summary:

As the second largest bail bonds company in California, we are currently seeking Collectors for our San Jose office. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of collection experience, a highly motivated individual that is assertive, creative, dedicated, and persistent. In this role, the Collector will be responsible for collecting payments, account management, and in charge of contacting clients to make payments on accounts. This is a full-time permanent remote position. Qualified candidates must be able to clear background check to obtain a collector’s license under California regulations and have their own uptodate personal computer equipment that is fully compatible with the software required for this position. Candidates must also be able to work from a quiet, private workspace where they can participate in virtual meetings in a manner that allows them to be seen in real time.

Requirements:

• 3+ Years of collection experience

• Familiar with FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practice Act) and Rosenthal Act

• Ability to work one or two Saturday shifts per month

• Assertiveness

• Dedication

• Heavy phone experience and excellent phone manner

• Persistence and creative

• Ability to work flexible hours

• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

• Proficient in MS office and clerical duties

• Attention to Details

• Must pass a criminal background check

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contacting clients for payments on accounts

• Manage multiple delinquent accounts

• Negotiate Payment Plans

• Collecting payments

• Negotiate Payment Plans

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or accounts

• Account Management
