College Tourism Instructor

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and classroom activities for college-level Tourism subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and examinations.
• Provide practical and industry-related learning experiences to students.
• Assess students’ academic performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
• Provide academic consultation and guidance to students.
• Integrate current tourism trends and industry practices into classroom discussions.
• Encourage students to develop professional, communication, customer service, and critical-thinking skills.
• Participate in faculty meetings, academic activities, and institutional programs.
• Perform other teaching-related duties as assigned by the Academic Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Travel Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred, including candidates currently pursuing their Master’s degree.
• Relevant work experience in the tourism, travel, hospitality, or related industry is also considered.
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not required.
• Strong communication, presentation, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of current tourism and hospitality industry practices.
• Passionate about teaching, student development, and academic excellence.
• Willing to work full-time and onsite at IIH College – Novaliches Campus.
• Available to start ASAP.
