Colourist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform colour correction and colour grading for videos, films, web series, advertisements, and social media content.
• Create consistent and visually appealing colour looks based on the project's creative requirements.
• Balance exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation, and white balance.
• Ensure accurate and natural skin tones across different shots and scenes.
• Match colours between multiple cameras, shots, scenes, and locations.
• Work closely with Directors, Cinematographers, Video Editors, and Creative Teams to achieve the desired visual style.
• Develop creative LUTs and colour looks when required.
• Review footage and identify technical colour and exposure issues.
• Maintain colour consistency throughout the entire project.
• Perform final quality checks before content delivery.
• Organize and manage project files, colour grades, LUTs, and related assets.
• Stay updated with the latest colour grading techniques, workflows, and post-production technologies.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Colour Correction and Colour Grading.
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
• Good understanding of RGB, HSL, Curves, Scopes, LUTs, Gamma, Contrast, Saturation, and White Balance.
• Knowledge of HDR and SDR workflows is an advantage.
• Understanding of different camera formats and colour spaces such as Log, Rec.709, RAW, and DCI-P3.
• Strong eye for colour, composition, detail, and visual consistency.
• Ability to understand and follow creative direction.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
