Combilift Driver - Late Shift

Overview:

Operate the C8000 LPG Combilift to move heavy plates, supply material to the profiling, laser and ESAB department and support unloading and scrap management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the C8000 LPG Combilift to transport plates, including heavy plate up to 180mm thick
• Supply material to profiling, laser and ESAB department
• Unload supplier deliveries and store material correctly
• Manage and maintain the scrap skip for plate scrap
• Liaise with the scrap supplier for timely collection
• Complete daily checks on the Combilift and report defects
• Handle material carefully to avoid damage
• Assist with loading and unloading as required
• Maintain safety standards in line with company procedures
• Support the Profile Manager and Supervisors with material movement tasks

Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience operating a C8000 LPG Combilift or similar forklift is essential
• Experience handling heavy steel plate
• Forklift certification or equivalent required
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work safely independently and as part of a team

Shift Details:

39 hours per week

Monday - Thursday 1.50pm - 10pm

Friday 12.50pm - 8pm

Includes a 30 minute paid break and a 10 minute unpaid break

The ideal candidate will be confident handling heavy plate, safety focused and able to keep material moving to support production

Expected hours: 39.0 per week
