Combo Auto Body Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Combo Auto Body Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive auto body repairs, including structural restoration, cosmetic refinishing, and welding repairs. Duties

• Perform automotive structural repairs, including sheet metal work, dent removal, and frame straightening using specialized tools and techniques.
• Conduct auto body repairs such as panel replacement, sanding, sanding tools usage, and auto painting to achieve a seamless finish.
• Utilize MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to restore vehicle integrity.
• Install automotive parts including glass, trim, bumpers, and other components with precision.
• Apply automotive cosmetic repair methods such as auto restoration, auto body refinishing, airless paint spraying, and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely for various repair tasks while adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, parts ordering, and customer service to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience working as an automotive body technician with dealership or independent shops preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal fabrication, and auto restoration techniques.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment operation.
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation.
• Skilled in using sanding tools, power tools, hand tools, and automotive painting equipment for refinishing projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly to clients.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
