Combo-Unit Operator

Sandpiper Truck Services is currently looking for Combo-Unit Operators to join our team. This position is responsible for operating a Combo-Unit but candidates that can operate multiple types of equipment will be considered an asset.

Requirements: * Minimum Class 3 driver’s license with a clean 5-year driver’s abstract

• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift a up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities: * Attend monthly safety meetings and ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner

• Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of equipment
• Perform pre and post trip inspections and maintain and updates driver’s log book
• Work as part of a team and communicate with dispatchers, supervisors and co-workers throughout the day
• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
