Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems, Coax cabling, and structured wiring to ensure optimal network performance.
• Perform fiber splicing and cable termination to establish reliable high-speed connections.
• Conduct telecommunications testing using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment issues swiftly.
• Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams to guide installation and repair processes accurately.
• Perform low-voltage electrical wiring, cable management, and equipment troubleshooting in various environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Coax installation, fiber optic systems installation, and telecommunication systems.
• Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet, LAN (local area network), and network wiring.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and telecommunication testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and structured cabling standards such as Cat5 and Cat6.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for field service assignments.
• All candidates must have a White VAN/Truck and an XM2 Meter
